The tray










Make the template with wood.
Cut the aluminum sheet into the correct shape.
Polish the edge with metal sander.


Fix the aluminum sheet with the template.

Smash the straight edge of the tray first.
Then the round corner.
Two trays use the same template to unsure they have the same size.
Finally polish it with metal polishing liquid.

Tutorial of the Aluminum Bowl Things you need 1. Aluminum sheet 2. Metal file 3. Metal cutter 4. Marker 5. Compasses 6. Ruler 7. Mushroom dolly 8. Wooden template 9. Planishing hammer 10. Sandbag 11. Ear protection 12. Nylon hammer Metal polish liquid and cloth English wheel Process of metal shaping Step 1:    Draw a circle on the aluminum sheet and cut it off with the metal cutter. Use the metal file to flatten the edge of the circle. Step 2 Use compasses and marker to draw the reference mark for striking. The circle is divided into 8 even sectors and two concentric circles that has 1/3 and 2/3 radius are marked. Place the aluminum sheet on a wooden cylinder with a concave rut. Bend it along the shape of the cylinder. Use the sharp end of the hammer smash the part above the concave rut to create the curve in the middle. Use the sharper hammer beating on the reversed surface on a sand bag. So that the curves on reverse direction is created. Use the planishing hammer and the bending steel to adjust the arc of the curve.
